It’s official! The call for speakers is now open!
WordCamp Baltimore is back for it’s 5th year and we NEED YOU to make it the best ever! In 2016 we’re introducing a third track to our day focused on higher education! We’re looking for speakers that can bring their experiences to our community in one of the following tracks.
- The User – There are a ton of folks using WordPress. Some are just getting started and others have been using this tool for a decade. This track will focus on showing users how to make the most of WordPress. Some topic ideas include:
- Taking the fear out of WordPress
- How to Build An Email List with WordPress – It’s not as hard as it might seem
- Use WordPress to Build Your Photography (insert any business type here) Web Site
- The Developer/Designer/Freelancer – These talks will focus on those working with WordPress every day. Some topic ideas include:
- What’s New with REST API
- Hurdles to Growing Your Own Freelance Business with WordPress
- Designing For WordPress
- Higher Education – A number of Universities are beginning to utilized WordPress. With so many in and around Baltimore we want to bring focused topics that others can use. Some topic ideas include:
- Migrating multiple sites to WordPress: Tips for a successful migration
- Educating Users on WordPress: Training Tips for Institutions
- What to do when a user needs a new plugin!
